Why we exist

Every hiring pipeline in security has the same bug: it filters for people who write good résumés, not people who find good vulnerabilities. hacking.community exists to patch it.

We're the home for ethical hackers — one platform that takes you from your first terminal command to your first real bounty, and proves every step along the way.

No cert-mill upsells No recruiter spam No data sold

learn → prove → go hunt

learn

It starts in the Academy: structured domains covering the full offensive-security landscape, built for people learning from zero and practitioners filling gaps. No fluff, no filler — guided paths written hacker-to-hacker.

prove

A real cloud Attack Box — Kali and Windows/Active Directory boxes that boot in your browser — plus vulnerable lab targets you attack from that box on an isolated network, live CTF events with real leaderboards, and live skill verification. Every flag lands on your profile.

go hunt

A live directory of 900+ public bug-bounty programs across HackerOne, Bugcrowd, Intigriti and YesWeHack — take sharpened skills to real scopes and cash real bounties.

What we're actually building

Most platforms make you pick one: a place to learn, a place to practice, or a place to hang out. hacking.community is the home base for all of it — the one tab a hacker keeps open all week.

A real browser Attack Box

Not a video, not a toy sandbox — an actual cloud Kali box (and full Windows/Active Directory boxes) you launch in a click, get root on, and hack from. Most new platforms never build this. We did.

The attacker → target loop

Spin up your box, then attack resettable vulnerable targets on an isolated lab network — egress-firewalled so nothing ever touches the open internet. A small set of quality targets beats a thousand throwaways.

Community-first, not transactional

Q&A, karma, end-to-end-encrypted DMs and team rallies. You hack alongside people, not next to a paywall — that's the part that keeps hackers coming back.

One hub for your whole week

Academy, labs, live CTFs, a 900-program bounty directory, security jobs, news and events — plus an AI SEC-OPS helper for writeups, CVEs and hints. All in one place, honest and no-corporate.

We're honest about where we stand. We're not out-cataloguing the giants on sheer box count — we're building the social, all-in-one hacker home base with a real browser box, backed by a focused, quality lab loop. If that's the kind of hacker you are, this is your place.

Proof over promises

Anyone can claim "expert in web exploitation." On hacking.community, the claim is backed by evidence anyone can actually check — and our sibling-lab live verification means your skills aren't self-reported; they're demonstrated under observation, on infrastructure we control. Nobody can fake a shell.

The work you put in is your reputation — a public, karma-ranked profile that speaks louder than any résumé.

Global and remote-first

Talent is everywhere, so we are too. Whether you're grinding your first lab in a bedroom in Lagos, capturing flags from a dorm in Berlin, or popping boxes from a café in São Paulo — the path is the same: learn → prove → go hunt. That's not our tagline. That's the product.
